AIM (Adults in Motion) - Warkworth

Art Social Group - ON HOLD, PENDING FUNDING
A fun art class with a social element for people with or without disabilities who are isolated or wanting to try something new.

Te Rito Rodney Family Violence Prevention Project
Te Rito Rodney is a local family violence prevention network focussed on education and awareness raising for family violence prevention. The network coordinates training and support workforce capability development. They also advocate strategically at a local and national level for a safer Rodney community. Training is aimed at friends, family, neighbours, and community members with the hope of providing them with ways to help. No fees.

Auckland Deaf Society (ADS) - celebrates diversity, welcoming people at all stages of life, and all ethnicities. Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and hearing people come together to create connections and inclusion for the Deaf Community of Auckland. ADS promote NZ Sign Language (NZSL), an official language of NZ, and Deaf Culture.
APODC (was Auckland Parents of Deaf Children) - helps deaf children, youth, and their families to connect. APODC provides social activities, support, advice and parental education.
Care Matters NZ - Designed by Carers for Carers. Building on more than three decades of work in the disability community, SAMS (Standards and Monitoring Services) and Parent to Parent New Zealand have combined their values, vision, people, connections and strengths to provide carers with resources and opportunities.
Carers NZ - Carers NZ acts as the national peak body providing information, advice, learning and support for all Carers.
Complex Care Group is a support and information network for Carers caring for those with very high and complex needs. Provides up-to-date information and support to carers to help them navigate the many challenges they face. Also responsible for communicating the needs of this group to Ministries, funders and other providers.

SibSupportNZ - Living with a brother or sister who has a disability can be challenging. We are here to support siblings to thrive in their own unique family environment. Click on link for more information.
Provides personalised support for children with diverse learning and behavioural needs. Using a strength-based, trauma-informed approach, Thrive Education works collaboratively with whānau, schools, and other professionals to build confidence, develop effective learning strategies, and create practical plans that help each child thrive.
