Able2Worship - Warkworth

AIM (Adults in Motion) - Warkworth
AIM offers an individualised vocational service designed to mentor, support and empower young adults with intellectual disabilities (regardless of the level of disability) from the age of 16 years upward. Based at 16 Auckland Road, Warkworth.

A Family Support service that provides home based and community support services for any family under stress or in crisis. Mahurangi Special Needs Support Group - Warkworth
A private Facebook group for families/parents to connect and support each other. Join the group to connect and share information & concerns. The group also meets face-to-face for coffee once a month at a local venue to be decided.

Spectrum Care - Our Aspirations Support service helps people with disabilities between the ages of 17 and 65, develop life skills to make their lives more enjoyable and fulfilling and actively participate in their communities. The service is centre-based day support and can include individualised community options.

L'Arche Mount Tabor - Helensville
At Mount Tabor, people with and without intellectual disabilities live and work together and are equally responsible for the life of their home and community. They also run Art, Choir, Drama and Wiggle & Giggle as part of their Arts and Activities Programme providing a chance for differently-abled people to enjoy those activities.

Creative Living For Health & Well-Being (Art Classes) - Orewa
Run by art therapists from Mapura Studios - designed for participants who have experienced stress, trauma, brain injury, stroke, aphasia or loss. Click on group link for more information and to register.

Move & Groove - Silverdale
Move & Groove is a music and movement programme for adults with disabilities and their caregivers.
Tuesdays, 12:00pm - 2:30pm during the school term.
Bring your own lunch anytime from 12.00pm, music starts at 1:00pm. Tea and coffee are provided.
Koha of $5 per client which goes towards the running costs of the programme.

A 'travelling social club' - personalised adventure service for retirees offering a range of day trips, catering for the varied interests and mobility of guests. Walkers and walking sticks welcome. Wheelchair available or you are welcome to bring your own. Tour van has been chosen for its size, comfort, seat configuration and mobility access.

Sing Up Rodney
Community music therapy with a focus on singing, communication, friendship and fun. For older adults, people with communication difficulties (affecting voice, speech, language and/or memory) resulting from a neurological condition (e.g. stroke, Parkinson’s, dementia or brain injury) and anyone looking for a supportive daytime group.

Swimming for Disabled Kids
At Northern Arena swim school, our swim teachers have been trained in the "No Exceptions Training" programme from the Halberg Trust and we treat all our children as potential swimmers regardless of disability.

Carers NZ - Carers NZ acts as the national peak body providing information, advice, learning and support for carers in our network.

Recreate NZ - Recreate NZ provides outdoor adventure programmes across Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty & Christchurch for young people with disabilities. From cycling the Otago Rail Trail - to a night out for dinner and a movie. We have something for everyone.
Rhythm for the Soul
Interactive Drumming Sessions with Chewy - Takapuna. For people with disabilities (16 and over). Designed to teach life skills through play-based learning whilst having loads of fun!
SibSupportNZ - Living with a brother or sister who has a disability can be challenging. We are here to support siblings to thrive in their own unique family environment. Click on link for more information.
Wilson Home - The Wilson Home Trust provides information, grants, support and services to physically disabled children and their families, in the upper North Island of New Zealand. Located in Takapuna on Auckland's North Shore, the site is home to a Child Rehabilitation Outpatient Clinic, six Respite Villas, Wilson School for children with additional learning needs and a non denomination chapel.
